Origin: Sidama, Ethiopia

Cultivar: 74158

Process: Natural

Roast Level: Light

Taste profile: Dried plum, burnt sugar, blueberry, and bergamot

We’re excited to share this rich, winey offering from the Yaye Washing Station in Sidama, crafted as part of the Odakko Project—a collaboration dedicated to producing a one-of-a-kind, single-variety natural coffee from meticulously selected cherry.

This natural lot is grown at 1,995–2,300 MASL. Cherries from 50 smallholders within a 10-km radius are hand-sorted to strict ripeness standards, washed with potable water, and dried slowly under shade for 28 days to enhance clarity and complexity. After drying, the coffee rests for six weeks before milling.

Flavor notes: Dried plum • Burnt sugar • Cooked blueberry • Fresh bergamot

The Odakko Project represents four years of planning between Testi Coffees and Café Imports to create a traceable, single-variety lot with exceptional flavor depth. Beyond quality, Testi invests in surrounding coffee communities through education and school-support programs. Clean processing and careful handling define this station—and the cup shows it.
